If you have been keeping score then you know the back and fourth that has been going on about the abortion debate. If you need a refresher then look for Mike’s take on the subject.

Although rather crass, Mike does make a good point. The father does contribute to the conception of the child, however it is the mother that will get the brunt of the pain, suffering worrying, all while trying to hold down a job and keep a house.

Lets face it when a man comes home from work he is in his domain. He sits on the couch channel surfing while the woman cooks dinner, cleans the house, does the laundry and takes care of the children and any little problem that pops up. It is a very rare man that says ‘honey, let me do that.’

Statistically speaking, men leave their families when the burden gets to be too much; they can’t handle it.

It is the women that are left to deal with the aftermath. Check the child support division of any state in the US and you will find millions of cases where the woman has to chase the man for supporting ‘what he helped to create’ and then dumped because it is not what he believed it would be.

It is all well and good to have the fantasy of a perfect life. A home with the pitter patter of little feet running around, but the reality is that it takes a lot of effort and a lot of hard work to sustain it. Many men today feel that they have what it takes only to find out down the road that they do not. It is not fair to anyone.

They leave and it is the woman who has to deal with it all. It is simply not fair to say that a man will always be there because in the majority of cases, they are not.

Some women chose to eliminate this stress by terminating the pregnancy. It is her choice. It is her body, and until the time the child is born, she can do what she wants with it. The law gives her plenty of time to decide what she wants to do. It is her option whether she wants to consult the man about her decision, however ultimately it is her decision.

I am not and never will be in favor of late term abortion. I think that once the time has passed, there is no other option but to have the child, however, until that time, I believe that it is every woman’s right to choose.

Sarah Simmons

There is no surefire, 100% guaranteed way to know if someone likes you as more than a friend…and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. There are, however, certain signs you can look for that will give you a pretty good idea if your friend or aquaintance is interested in being more than friends.

Test his/her Personal Space

Everyone has something called “personal space”. It is like a bubble around us that we don’t like people trespassing into. If someone gets too close, we instinctively move away, and if they get too close again we move away again. When we are attracted to someone that bubble disappears. They can brush their thigh against ours while sitting close and we won’t jerk our leg away, they can stand close and we won’t step to the side, they can sit beside us on a long couch while watching a movie and we don’t ask them to move over. We enjoy being close to those who we are attracted to and sometimes make excuses to do so.

So, the first step in gauging whether your friend is attracted to you is to get past their “personal space” and monitor their reaction. If they move away, heed it as a warning and don’t try it again that day. Our personal space is a personal thing and many of us become annoyed if someone repeatedly invades it against our will. You can try this several times (over several days) and if he or she continues to move away as if by reflex, chances are, they are not attracted to you. This is not to stop you from trying the next test another time.

Observe Their Body Language

Is your friend exhibiting flirtatious behaviour with you? Do they find excuses to touch you, stand close, compliment you repeatedly on your appearance? Do their pupils dilate when they see you? Science has found that our pupils dilate when we are looking at someone or something we are attracted to.

Watching out for flirtatious behaviour is a good method, but it is probably the most unreliable of all that are listed. This is because some people are natural flirts, they flirt with everyone, including their friends. Also, some people are very affectionate with their friends and that could be miscontrued as flirting.

Touch his/her Hand

Another way to gauge if someone is attracted to you is to deliberately touch, or almost touch their hand. Try passing him or her something and hold it in a way that makes it difficult for them to take it without your hands touching. When they reach to take it, observe whether or not they expend any effort to touch the smallest surface area of your hand possible. If they avoid touching your hand then it could mean that they want to avoid all physical contact with you. Take it as a good sign if they linger by your hand when they touch you. Better yet, are their hands sweaty?

You could also try placing your hand very near your friend’s hand and watch to see if they move theirs away. If they are standing with a hand rested on a railing, stand next to them and rest your hand right beside theirs. If they are trying to program their DVD or CD player, help them and let your hand graze by theirs while you both play with the buttons. It would be a bad sign if they retracted their hand completely.

Watch for Changing or Strange Behaviour

Does your friend seem unusually awkward or nervous around you? Are their hands shaky or sweaty? Do they avoid talking about other guys/girls, and seem very uninterested in hearing you talk about other guys/girls that you are interested in?

Are they suddenly complimenting you more than usual? Are they only letting their best side show? Is she spending more time getting ready than usual? Is he wearing his nicest clothes and cologne…things you’ve only see him do when going on a date with other women?

Listen to What they Say

It sounds like a no brainer, but I am telling you anyway because when we like someone we tend to ignore any signs that they don’t like us and really play up any signs that they do. If your friend is saying things similar to those below then they may have picked up on your interest and are subtly hinting back that they aren’t interested in taking the friendship further.

“It is so nice to have a male/female friend who is just a friend.”

“I really like this guy/girl from work, we went out last night….”

“There is a new guy/girl at school who I am really interested in. Can you give me some advice on striking up a conversation?”

“I’m so glad we can just be friends without getting physically involved, I see so many friendships ruined because they crossed that boundary.”

“I have a friend who I’de like to set you up with, you guys would get along so well!”

I just got back from a all day shopping trip with my friends. It was crazy. One stop we made was at a record show to cruise for music. It was a CD/record show, and a bunch of vendors came, trying to sell old vinyl.

I don’t have a record player — hell, I haven’t even used one since I actually owned records which was way back… just take my word that it was a long time ago. My very first was Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time.” I was four, so I also owned a bunch of Strawberry Shortcake books on record. My mom used to own a record player, and every Christmas she would play the “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” record.

The last time I saw a record player wasn’t that long ago. I went to an indoor flea market in October, and we saw one there for $25. I thought about buying it for a minute, but that would mean I would also have to buy records. I went to a store at the flea market that sold vintage records, three for five bucks. I was thinking about how much I could get for the Doors’ self-titled record on vinyl on Ebay.

I had records when I was young, but I grew up in the time of compact discs. I owned a few tapes, but most were blanks that I used to tape songs off the radio. CDs were more my speed.

But I appreciate records now that I’m older. Of course, I still lack a turntable, and I was going to buy records for a decoration, not something to listen to. I’m probably doing a disservice to the vinyl collectors, but that’s okay. They’re looking through bins with hopes of uncovering some kind of gem. I’m just looking for one with a nice picture that is suitable for framing.

I didn’t find any, so I headed to the dollar CDs. I found The Chemistry, a band I randomly heard out about at Bamboozle a few years back. I kept looking. And then I found my gem. The Best of Hanson Live and Electric.

I’m not even kidding. I love Hanson. I saw the band’s first mall performance back in 1996, and I even used a Hanson lyric from the song “Weird” as my senior quote.“When you live in a cookie cutter world being different is a sin, so you don’t stand out and you don’t fit in.”

I was 17 and blue eyed. I was sure that I was going to change the world. I haven’t, but that’s okay. I still have time. Most of the best artwork is appreciated posthumously. I’m not planning on that happening to me, but if it does, that’s okay, too.

At least I’ll always have Hanson.

The album that I got in the dollar bin is a promo album. It doesn’t come with any of the fancy artwork, but it does come with an interesting fact on the back: Hanson has sold over 15 million albums. Fifteen million albums. And I now own four — “Middle Of Nowhere,” the band’s debut, “Snowed In,” the band’s Christmas album, “3 Car Garage,” the indie recordings and now “Live and Electric.” The other ones I actually paid full price for. Me and over 15 million other people.

It’s amazing. At the height of Hanson’s popularity, back in 1996, Isaac was 15, Taylor was probably 13 and Zak had to be around 10. The boys were writing about love before actually experiencing it. They were plastered on walls when Zak should have just been in fifth grade. Can you imagine?

I didn’t think anything of them being so young. I just liked MmmBop. It was catchy and played on the radio, and the radio was feeding me my listening candy.

I remember I had a cassette single of MmmBop, so I could play it while I was driving. A guy I used to be good friends with took the tape, cracked it in half and threw it out the window. I was so angry. That was my tape, and he ruined it. I needed my MmmBop while driving, and now I had to settle with catching it on the radio. Luckily for me, it seemed to play every other song.

The live CD, which was recorded in Melbourne, Australia in June 2005, is bringing back memories of when I watched Hanson on Saturday Night Live when I was babysitting one night. It’s letting me remember when I was young, when I had the whole world ahead of me.

Hanson did too.

I wonder if they do now.

Oh, they were such babies when mainstream media embraced them, yearned for them, needed them. Demanded them. They couldn’t be kids. They were teen idols. Their youth was stripped and replaced by popularity.

I’m not blaming anyone [[not one of those 15 million records sold, either]]. But I just never thought about how these kids [[they were kids]] were thrown into the spotlight. They grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma for goodness sake. And then they were the biggest family band since, probably, the Osmonds. I wonder how many records Donnie and Marie sold?

When Taylor [[the middle one]] was about 19, he got married to his then-pregnant girlfriend. And that’s it. He couldn’t be a kid anymore; he was having one of his own. I heard Zak, who is now 20, got engaged to his lifelong sweetheart [[and I kind of wonder how lifelong works on the road]]. It’s just making me really depressed to think about how the youth of America can strip the youth of other kids. It’s not done on purpose, but it happens.

Where’s my “Middle Of Nowhere” disc? That’s the one where Hanson sounds happy, not grown up. The band is just playing around with pop tunes. There isn’t any of the mellow/indie stuff that’s on this live album. And, for what it’s worth, the band doesn’t even sound like it’s having fun on stage. And the audience seems just as engrossed. Every so often you can hear a random scream, but it isn’t anything like the live shows I’ve been to. And there doesn’t seem to be an interaction between the band and the audience. It sounds so disconnected.

If this is what Hanson thinks is “The Best Of,” then we seriously have a problem.

One of our most devastating emotional experiences is the loss of a loved one. I am addressing the loss of loved one to death and through “romantic rejection” as two separate situations.

The power which we give to our love partner to determine to such a large degree our security, happiness and self-worth is largely the result of our childhood experiences and especially unfinished business with our parents. Thus we might need to also work on healing childhood experiences.

Affirmations for overcoming Romantic Rejection

Here is a list of some of the emotions we might feel when someone leaves us. Below each emotion we present some possible affirmations for getting free. These lists as always are there to guide you and never to limit you. There are many other possibilities.

1. Rejection (demeaned, worthless) because he/she does not want to be with me.

Even though until now I felt rejected (demeaned, worthless) because (name of person)____ left me, I now feel (realize, experience) my self-worth as a unique being without him/her.

2. Fear of continuing life without this person.

Even though until now I feared continuing life alone without (name of person)____ , I now feel (realize, experience) self-confidence and powerfully capable of dealing with life.

3. Fear (shame) of what others will think about me now that he/she has left.

Even though until now I feared what others would think because (name of person)____ left me , I now feel (realize, experience) my self-worth as a unique being, regardless of what they think.

4. Fear that I will not find anyone else to share my life with.

Even though until now, I feared I would not find anyone else to share my life with, I now am confident that I deserve and will attract the perfect being for me.

5. Hurt (pain, unhappiness, loneliness) of not having this person to hold, share, make love to, communicate with, etc.

Even though until now I felt I hurt (pain, unhappiness, loneliness) because I do not have (name of person)____ to hold (share, make love to communicate with etc. – be specific), I now experience the fullness of my being and of my life and lovingly connect with those around me.

6. Injustice (bitterness, resentment, betrayal) that he/she is unjustly harming, betraying, hurting us in this way.

Even though until now I felt Injustice (bitterness, resentment, betrayal) because (name of person)____ has behaved unjustly, I now have faith in the wisdom of what life gives me for my growth process.

7. Guilt (self-rejection) because I feel that I am to blame for his/her leaving.

Even though until now I felt guilt (self-rejection) because (name of person)____ left me, I now forgive and love myself, realizing that I have done and will do my best.

8. Jealousy if (because) he/she is with someone else

Even though until now I felt jealous because (name of person)____ is with someone else, I now feel the fullness of my being trust that life gives me exactly what I need for my growth process (self-actualization).

9. Anger (hate, revenge) because he/she has caused now so much pain.

Even though until now I felt anger (hate, revenge) because (name of person)____ left me (is with someone else), I now realize that I am perfectly capable of being happy and fulfilled without him/her.

10. Depression (disillusionment, discouragement) that I cannot have what I want and cannot do anything about it.

Even though until now I felt depressed (disillusioned, discouraged) because I could not be with (name of person)____ , I now realize (feel, experience) that I have the power to create the life I want.

It should not take long to work through all of the above. The pain which often takes months, and for some people, years, can be removed in a week or less. We help no one by feeling all these emotions.

Better to get on with our lives.

Bruce McGuire

Announcers and sportswriters like to say things like, “You couldn’t have scripted that any better” when something really dramatic happens. (This phrase reached its peak when Boston came back from a 0-3 deficit to beat New York in the 2004 ALCS and go on to take the World Series. Strangely, if this “script” had a sequel four years later, it would involve everyone going from hating just the Yankees to everyone hating both the Yanks and Red Sox equally.)

To my recollection, I think I have only heard the “script” phrase once describing this year’s March Madness. Frankly, the tournament has been pretty disappointing: lots of blowouts, no real surprises (unless you count West Virgina beating Kentucky), and many bad performances from other teams that everyone had in their office pool

So I thought to myself, “Hey, why not just come up with your own sports movie pitches? You can certainly think of something that could make a better ‘script’ than the 2010 tournament. At the very least, you can be lazy and not have to do any research!” Deal. Nice job, self.

Wii-nning It All

This is about a college senior (Peter) with a 4.0 and aspirations of joining his father’s law firm until his lazy roommate (Sharky) buys a Nintendo Wii for their apartment. Initially skeptical, Peter decides to give the Wii a try after finishing up his frivolous lawsuit readings earlier than expected. After creating his Mii (dubbed “Big Pete”) and playing only one game of Wii Tennis, he becomes hooked. Peter plays all night and day, sleeping only in the time between recharges of his controller’s batteries. When he dreams, he envisions becoming the next Andre Agassi… except Andre actually played tennis and Peter plays video games.

Peter no longer attends class, bathes, or answers his phone. He starts to look like the cavemen in the Geiko ads, only holding a Wii remote and not being run into the ground. He doesn’t graduate; instead, Peter spends commencement locked up in his room screaming at a Nintendo phone representative (Emily) for a quick fix for his overheated operating system. Emily is the first girl he has spoken to since his fiancé (Jennifer) broke up with him. Naturally, he has a crush and tells her of his dream: to play Wii in Wimbledon.

Peter trains night and day, maintaining a relationship with Emily via phone all the while. However, trouble surfaces. Along the way, Peter develops an addiction to Vicotin in an effort to relieve his injurious “Wii elbow.” After a montage of playing Wii Tennis in pain, taking pills, tossing his phone into an aquarium, and crying, Peter sees a SportsCenter promo on a Wii tournament in Wimbledon. Peter buys a ticket and leaves his apartment for the first time in a year. Despite being a horrible seed, Peter advances to the Wii Tennis finals where he faces… Andre Agassi, another Nintendo addict. They go back and forth for five hard fought games until, on the last serve, Peter’s batteries run out causing him to lose the match.

Andre celebrates. Peter is about to cry until he looks in the stands and sees Emily, who runs onto the court and gives him a kiss. A long one. It is awkward.

Boris the Bullet

A down-on-his-luck Russian immigrant (Boris) finds himself in the underground world of Russian roulette. After managing to win (read: live) his first three contests, he gets cocky and starts showing off his spoils. He wears a fur coat to his next match and loses (read: dies) after the first round (read: bullet).

Shots and Shots

A high school senior (Reginald) is terrible at basketball. Being a senior, he only has one year of opportunity left to make his father, a former NBA player (Shawn Kemp) proud. Reginald is nervous about the upcoming tryouts, so he brings a flask of vodka with him to the locker room, dumps the booze in his Gatorade and goes to play. Shockingly, Reginald hits every shot he takes during the tryout. He can barely run a straight line and slurs his words to the Coach (John Wooden) but they all just think he is tired from playing so hard. Reginald makes the team and continues to before every practice and game, but it makes him a great player, so he doesn’t think of the repercussions. During the state championship (with NCAA scouts watching), Reginald is struggling. He can’t hit anything and wonders if someone switched out his trusty Stoli with Aquafina. At halftime it hits him: “My tolerance has been built up so high that vodka won’t do… I need everclear.” Reginald gets his older brother (Reggie) to get the high-proofed libation into his water bottle; as a result, he starts playing great again and even hits the championship winning shot. As he is handed the Player of the Year trophy, Coach says to the crowd, “… and he did this without any alcohol.” Racked with guilt, Reginald grabs the mic and admits to his underage-drinking ways. Their championship is taken away and he loses scholarship interest, but receives a 5-year endorsement from Armadale Vodka. Holla!

Number One Fan

One man’s struggle (Jimmy) to convince the world the WNBA kicks ass. As the nation’s only New York Liberty season ticket holder (and owner of three WNBA jerseys), Jimmy eventually goes crazy after going bankrupt from his ill-conceived “Girls of the WNBA” calendar.

Don’t steal ‘em!

Sarah Simmons

Growing up we all hated being spanked, we would get into trouble at school and dreaded to hear those famous words “just wait till your father gets home.” Today many people are actually turned on by the thought of being spanked. To the point that there are actually places where people go just for this very reason.

If you are a fan of the show Family Guy then you have seen the episode where the character Stewie is actually turned on by being spanked. But before you go and think that the world of spanking is just a bunch of people running around whipping people with belts here are some facts about the scene.

First there are safe words that are used, these are words that once said bring a complete stop to all activity. the next thing is that there are roles, one person is the dominant and one person is the submissive. in some cases these roles may switch during the role playing with both parties experiencing the feeling of being spanked.

Spanking is often considered to be part of the BDSM culture and often times considered a taboo subject in the U.S. Even though this is considered taboo you can still find a bounty of publications dedicated to this subject.

The subject of spanking is even covered in the Kama Sutra, where it shows you in great detail how to strike your partner the proper and safe way, after all the name of the game is to have fun and to be safe.
So the next time that you and your partner are looking to spice up your sex life consider trying spanking, there are a limitless number of roles that you can use to help further the experience. Who knows you might discover something about yourself that you never knew like you really couldn’t wait for your father to get home.

the Biggest night in the WWE is tonight from Phoenix, Arizona. There is a lot of anticipation for this event. There is so much on the line for the superstars of the WWE, these athletes know that if they make it tonight then they have won their Super Bowl. The stage is set, the time for talk is now over. This is where it is either put up or shut up.

WrestleMania 26 kicks off from the University of Phoenix Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona with Justin Roberts welcoming us. US fighter jets fly over the top of the stadium before Grammy winning Fantasia starts singing “America, The Beautiful.”

We get a slick video package highlighting WrestleMania as a place where many superstars only get one shot at making history. Lots of feuds of tonight are highlighted, specifically Sheamus/HHH, Taker/Michaels II, Vince/Bret, and both of the Championship matches. Money in the Bank participants are also shown. The package is amazing.

The pyro hits in a pretty amazing display, and the crowd, of course, is hot. Michael Cole welcomes us properly to the 26th installment of WrestleMania taking place at the University of Phoenix stadium. Michael Cole just announced the Wrestlemania XXVI attendance as ‘over 70,000′. The opening contest, will be the match for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championships. R-Truth is out first, rapping his way to the ring to a lot of love from the crowd.

Unified WWE Tag Team Championship Match
Big Show & The Miz (c) vs. John Morrison & R-Truth

R-Truth takes time out to ask ‘WrestleMania, what’s up?’, before his partner’s music hits, and John Morrison makes his way out to the ring, to a nice pop, and with a very nice pyro display.

Matt Striker, Jerry the King Lawler, and Michael Cole are the announce team for tonight. Big Show and Miz make their way to the ring, and this one is ready to begin.

Morrison and Miz will be starting things out for their teams. Morrison is able to get a hammerlock, but Miz fights out of it and stomps at Morrison. Miz turns his back, only to turn around into a dropkick. Morrison slams Miz and tags out to Truth, who comes in with a top rope leg drop on Miz that’s good for a two count. Truth does the splits to avoid a punch from Miz, and gets Miz with a back kick, but Miz tags out to Show. Truth tries to hit Show with a cross body, but he’s caught and hit with a fall away slam instead. Show pushes Morrison off the apron and chops Truth’s chest.
Triple Threat Match
Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Ted DiBiase

Ted Dibiase is the first man out to the ring, to a bit of heat, and Cole talks about his father’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame last night. Cody Rhodes is the next man out to the ring, also to a bit of heat from the crowd. Randy Orton is the last man to the ring, to a big pop from the crowd.

Dibiase and Rhodes are grouped together and talking to each other when Orton enters the match. This match will be under triple threat rules where every man is in the ring at the same time. The bell rings, and Cody and Ted begin to stalk Randy.

DiBiase and Rhodes tried to corner Orton, who tried to keep his space while throwing a forearm at DiBiase and a kick at Rhodes. Orton went in and out of the ring, getting Cody to follow. Orton hit DiBiase with a clothesline, then knocked Rhodes out of the ring as he got in. Orton kicked DiBiase, then dropkicked Rhodes. DiBiase caught Orton with a dropkick, and then the double team began with Rhodes and DiBiase stomping Orton down. Rhodes and DiBiase trash talked Orton, then took turns holding him with the other punched him. Orton tried to fight back, but was given a double vertical suplex.

DiBiase and Rhodes taunted Orton, then kicked him down in a corner. They whipped Orton into a corner, and Orton came out swinging, until DiBiase nailed him with a clothesline. DiBiase hit Orton with another clothesline while Rhodes clipped Orton’ leg. Rhodes gave Orton a kneedrop, then went to climb the ropes. While he did that, DiBiase tried to make a cover. Rhodes broke it up, and the two argued. Rhodes threw DiBiase out of the ring and hit the Alabama Slam. Rhodes covered, and DiBiase broke it up. They argued, and DiBiase slugged Rhodes. Rhodes responded by tackling DiBiase, and they rolled to the floor and brawled.

Rhodes and DiBiase rolled back in and kept punching. They two realized Orton was getting up, so they stopped fighting and charged him. Orton backdropped DiBiase, slugged Rhodes, then gave DiBiase and Rhodes each a powerslam. DiBiase rolled out of the ring, and Orton gave Rhodes a side backbreaker. The fans chanted for an “RKO” and Orton measured Rhodes for it, but DiBiase pulled him out of the ring. DiBiase and Orton slugged it out on the floor, and Rhodes went for a pescado. Orton moved, and Rhodes landed on DiBiase.

Orton rolled back into the ring, and DiBiase got on the apron. Orton kicked him and grabbed his head. Rhodes got on the apron as well, and Orton kicked him. Orton grabbed Rhodes and DiBiase and hit a double elevated DDT with both men hanging off the ropes. Orton kicked DiBiase out of the ring, and began measuring Rhodes for an RKO. Orton then changed his mind, and instead lined up for a punt. Orton punted Rhodes in the head. DiBiase got in the ring, grabbed Orton from behind and went for Dream Street. Orton armdragged out of it, hit DiBiase with the RKO and got the pin on DiBiase at the nine minute mark.

Winner: Randy Orton

Backstage:

Josh Matthews delivered a big buildup about how he was about to interview one of the most charismatic superstars in WWE history. It turned out to be Vickie Guerrero. He asked Vickie, who was accompanied by her teammates, if that’s what she was looking for. She gave Josh the boot and had Jillian Hall enter the picture for a song. Santino stepped in after the other Divas left.

Santino pimped Slim Jim. When he bit into the Slim Jim, Jillian turned into Mae Young, who kissed him. He bit in again and Gene Okerlund was standing there in a dress. The next bite led to Melina. Santino said anything is possible when you snap into a Slim Jim and then walked away with Melina…

Shelton and Kofi sandwich Kane with a ladder, and he and MVP and Shelton use a ladder to sandwich Kane in the corner, Kofi runs up the ladder, but he’s powerbombed by Kane.

Benjamin is close to gaining the briefcase, but Swagger puts him down with a ladder, before slamming the ladder into several other participants. Bourne comes out of nowhere with a double knees to Swagger and the ladder to take him out. Swagger is in the middle of the ladder, and Hardy and Christian both use ladders to sandwish Swagger’s midsection. Hardy and Christian climb the ladder, while Bourne climbs the side. Swagger pulls the ladder out from under Hardy, and Bourne kicks Christian off the other ladder before hitting Air Bourne from off the ladder onto Christian.

Bourne tries for the briefcase, but Hardy is there and he throws Bourne off the top. Hardy is almost able to grab the briefcase, but Swagger comes up from behind, and pushes him off the top of the ladder, on top of the ladder propped up in the ring. Swagger also falls off onto another ladder propped against the ropes. MVP and Shelton are up on the ladder now and Shelton sends MVP off. MVP retaliates, trying to powerbomb Shelton, but Benjamin retaliates with a hurricarana to the outside. Kane is outside with a ladder and he hits both MVP and Shelton. Kane is in the ring and he tries to climb the ladder, but Ziggler is in, climbing over Kane. Kane pushes over the ladder to knock Ziggler off before throwing the ladder at Ziggler, Ziggler ducks but eats a right hand.

Kane chokeslams Ziggler on the ladder before sandwiching him in between and slamming the ladder up and down on top of Ziggler. Kane ends up ripping the ladder apart. Kofi sends Kane to the outside, and uses both pieces of the ladder as stilts, trying to climb all the way to the top. McIntyre is in, knocking one of the legs away, and pushing the other, with Kofi on it, into the ropes. McIntyre grabs a ladder and climbs, but Matt Hardy is in on the other side. Hardy and McIntyre fight at the top with McIntyre sending Hardy to the mat. Hardy retaliates, pushing the ladder into the ropes where McIntyre crotches himself.

Winner: Jack Swagger

Swagger poses with his briefcase at the top of the ladder, smiling and laughing.

Sheamus and Hunter lock up, and Sheamus backs Hunter up into the corner, where he breaks with a shove. He tells Hunter that he’s the future and he’s the Celtic Warrior. Hunter puts Sheamus in the corner, but also doesn’t break clean, slapping Sheamus across the face. Hunter hits a series of right hands and he tries for the pedigree early, but Sheamus is able to fight out of it.

Sheamus sends Hunter into the corner, but quickly eats a dropkick. Hunter hits a suplex, and follows up with a knee, but a cover only yeilds a two count for Triple H. Sheamus rolls to the outside, and Hunter follows, slamming his head into the barricade and sending him back into the ring. Back in the ring, Hunter goes to work on Sheamus’ legs, locking in the figure four. Sheamus is able to get to the ropes to break the hold and he rolls back to the outside.

Hunter follows Sheamus to the outside, but he finds himself being rammed into the steel rings steps. Sheamus breaks the count, and he slams Hunter into the barricade before sending him back into the ring, hitting an elbow to Hunter’s throat on the way back in.
- The events leading to CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio are shown.

CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio
If Punk wins, Mysterio joins the Straight Edge Society

CM Punk is the first man out to the ring, with Serena and Luke Gallows in tow, and of course, a mic in hand. Punk still gets a decent reaction from the crowd, probably due to his stellar work. Punk says there’s over 70 thousand weak minded individuals that are so hopped up on pills, they think Rey Mysterio is a super hero. They think their super hero will make the monster go away, but Punk isn’t a monster, he’s a savior, and he can lead everyone to a better place. He can lead by example because he chooses to be drug free, and he chooses to be better than everyone. Mysterio doesn’t have a choice. He will be forced to join the SES, and everyone will have to accept him. One nation, under Punk, with integrity and sobriety for all.

Mysterio’s music hits, and Punk stares down the entrance ramp. Mysterio is finally out, with some crazy contacts that look like cat eyes or something. Mysterio also has a long ponytail hanging from his mask and he’s dressed in baby blue gear with some neon orange streaks.

The bell rings and we’re ready to start this one. Gallows and Sarita are stalking around the outside, it distracts Mysterio, and Punk is able to use that to catch Mysterio, sending him to the mat and stomping away on him. Mysterio tries to come back and jumps to the top, but Punk sweeps his feet out from under him. Punk distracts the ref and Serena chokes Mysterio. Punk tries for a baseball slide, but Mysterio flips up, and Punk crotches himself on the ring post. On the outside, Punk gets even by slamming Mysterio into the steel ring steps.

Back in the ring, Punk pounds away on Mysterio and he tries for a pin, but Mysterio kicks out at two. Punk locks in a rear chin lock while the SES cheers on from ringside. Mysterio is able to fight up to his feet and out of the hold where he catches Punk with a quick kick. Mysterio tries for a headscissors, but Punk fights it off, only to eat a springboard seated senton from Mysterio. Mysterio hits a kick to Punk’s face, but Punk is able to surprise Mysterio with a roll up for two. Punk catches Mysterio with a giant kick to the side of the head, but a pin is only good for two.

Punk tries for a series of pins, but it ends with Mysterio flipping out and up onto the ropes, where he comes back with a crazy springboard DDT. Mysterio tries for the pin, but he only gets two. Mysterio kicks Punk into the ropes and tries for the 619, but Punk catches him. Punk tries for the GTS, but Mysterio fights out. Mysterio springboards off the ropes, but Punk catches him in GTS position. Mysterio fights out again and kicks Punk in the head. Mysterio goes to the top and tries for a frog splash, but he misses.
Winner: Rey Mysterio

- The events leading to Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon are shown.

No Holds Barred Match
Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon

Bret is the first man to the ring, in all his jean short and leather jacketed glory. He gets a great welcome from the crowd.

Vince McMahon is the second entrant in the match. He enters wearing a short sleeved shirt, and he looks pretty damn good for his age. Vince is also carrying a mic in his hand. Vince says Bret is in his ring, at his greatest creation, WrestleMania. Vince says Bret deserves a WrestleMania sized screwing. Vince says he shelled out a lot of bucks and as a result, he bought himself a lot of lumberjacks, and one of them will be a guest referee. Vince says to just remember that Bret screwed Bret, and Vince screwed Bret, and now Vince and Hart’s entire family screwed Bret. The Hart Dynasty makes their way out, along with Hart’s family make their way to the ring with Vince.

The Hart family surrounds the rings, but this is pretty ridiculous since everyone but the Hart Dynasty is in their formal wear from earlier. The women are all in heels and formal dresses, and most of the guys are wearing tuxes, I think only Bruce is wearing jeans. Bruce is in the ring, and he takes off his shirt to reveal a referee shirt.

Bruce Hart doesn’t even take off his sunglasses. Bret can’t believe that his whole family agreed to this. He says there isn’t much he can do, what’s done is done. He says there’s one thing he knows about the Hart family, they got paid up front and their money is already in the bank. Hart says there’s one thing he learned from the Montreal screwjob, and that’s a good old fashioned double cross. The Hart family is united. Hart knew about this coming in, and tonight, at Vince’s greatest creation, it’ll be forever remembered as the night Bret screwed Vince. Bruce and Bret hug, and Bruce starts the match, finally with his glasses off.

Vince begs off, but Hart hits him with a right. Hart beats McMahon all around the ring, in the corner, stomping away at him. Hart chokes McMahon with his foor in the corner. Vince rols outside into the Hart Dynasty, who go to work with a couple of forearms. Hart family members are in to join, and Natalya hits Vince with a big slap. Kidd and DH Smith stomp away at Vince, and Kidd locks in a guillotine choke before hammering away on Vince. DH Smith picks Vince up and Kidd climbs up to the apron. DH Smith picks Vince up, and Kidd goes all the way to the top turnbuckle. Kidd leaps off and hits a top rope Hart attack all the way to the floor, sending Vince McMahon crashing down.

The Harts roll Vince back into the ring, and Bret goes right to work on Vince’s leg. Vince rolls back to the outside, and he tries to crawl under the ring to avoid things, but Kidd and Smith pull him out. Vince has a crowbar in hand when he comes back out and the Hart’s scatter. Everyone calls Vince a coward. Vince rolls back into the ring and he tries to hit Bret with the crowbar, but Bret ducks it, and sends McMahon to the mat, where he continues to beat him down with big elbows. Hart grabs the crowbar and he uses it to clobber McMahon, just wailing away on him.

Hart uses the crowbar to whack McMahon right in the throat, and the Hart family rallies Bret on from the outside, banging on the mat. Hart grabs McMahon’s legs, and the crowd goes NUTS. Hart goes for it, but decides against it, and goes for the crowbar again. Hart whacks McMahon a couple more times before grabbing the legs again. Hart kicks McMahon right in the crotch, and then does it again.

McMahon pleads with Bret, but all it gets him is a couple more kicks to the groin. someone slides a chair into Bret, and he uses it to sit down. Bruce comes over, and Bret actually calls a time out, just to catch his breath. McMahon crawls up to his hands and knees, and Hart is up behind him. Hart picks up the chair, and whacks McMahon across the back, then a second time. The crowd chants for one more, and Bret obliges with another big chair shot. Three more, then another, and another, and Bret is just working Vince over. Three more, another, a thirteenth, fourteenth, fifteenth all on Vinces legs. Another, and another, and another, jeez, this is crazy. Another, and Vince is just moaning and panting.

Hart grabs the leg and everyone goes crazy. Hart wraps up the legs and pulls McMahon over, successfully locking in the Sharpshooter, which is just a beautiful sight. McMahon immediately taps, but Hart keeps it locked in just for a bit.

Winner: Bret Hart

After the match, all the Harts get in the ring to celebrate with Bret, and Cole makes the stupid comment that ‘Bret Hart spits in the face on Montreal’ which was just worded TERRIBLY.

- We get an advertisement for WM27. Attendance is announced as 72,219 and pyro display from the top of the arena.

- The events leading to Edge vs. Jericho are shown.

World Heavyweight Championship Match
Chris Jericho (c) vs. Edge

The World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho, is out to the ring first with an impressive pyro display. Edge is the next man to make his way out, to a huge pop from the crowd and an impressive pyro display of his own. This match is set to begin, and Canada is extremely proud right now.

Edge stomps on Jericho in the corner, but when the ref breaks it up, Jericho is able to mount a comeback, putting Edge in the corner and beating on him for a bit. Edge comes back with a back body drop, and he tries for a spear, but Jericho sees it coming and he rolls out to the floor. Edge follows, beats on Jericho for a bit and rolls him back into the ring. On his way back into the ring, Jericho catches Edge with a slap, and a baseball slide to send him to the floor.

Edge rolls back into the ring, and Jericho grabs right for Edge’s legs, hitting a slingshot, slamming Edge’s neck into the bottom rope. Jericho hits a back body drop, and he tries for a cover, but Edge kicks out at two. Jericho locks in a modified rear chin lock, and tells the referee to ask him, but Edge refuses to give up. Edge fights up to his feet, but Jericho slams him back down to the mat head first. Jericho kicks and slaps away at Edge’s head.

Jericho sends Edge into the corner, but when he charges in, Edge moves and Jericho’s shoulder connects with the ring post. Edge hits a big dropkick, and tries for a back body drop, but Jericho blocks it and hits a front suplex, sending Edge into the ropes. Jericho tries for a springboard dropkick, but Edge dodges it, and sends JEricho crashing into the announce table. Edge launches himself off the ring apron onto Jericho with a big diving clothesline. Edge rolls Jericho into the ring and he tries to go to the top, but Jericho catches him and the fight on the turnbuckle. Edge is able to come out on top when he hits a front suplex from the middle rope that’s good for a two count.

Edge ducks a big boot from Jericho and slides to the outside where he sweeps Jericho’s legs. Edge hits a crossbody from the top, but Jericho rolls through into a pin attempt for a two count. Jericho tries for the walls of Jericho, but Edge fights it off. Both men get a quick near fall, but a kick to the head from Jericho puts Edge down.

Jericho tries for the codebreaker, but Edge counters, catches Jericho and slamming him into the corner. Edge goes for the spear, but Jericho counters, jumping over and rolling Edge straight into the walls of Jericho!

Edge is able to counter the walls, rolling over and turning it into a near fall for a two count. Jericho fights out, goes for a lion sault, and lands on his feet when Edge moves, but Edge slams Jericho’s head down to the canvas. Both men are up and Jericho hits a big enzugiri. Jericho goes for the cover but only gets two. Jericho hits a series of big right hands, but Edge retaliates with an Impaler DDT. Edge goes for the cover but Jericho kicks out.

Jericho takes control with a blow to the back of Edge’s head. Jericho teases the spear, setting up for it. Edge is back on his feet, but when Jericho goes for the spear, Edge gets his foot up for a big boot. Edge psyches himself up, and gets the crowd going. Edge tries for the spear, but Jericho counters with the codebreaker.

Jericho crawls over and pins Edge, but it’s only good for two, another pin, another two count. Jericho argues with the ref for a bit, but then turns back to Edge. Jericho kicks at the back of Edge’s leg, before just stomping on the ankle. Edge avoids another kick and he gets back to his feet, but Jericho takes him right back down into the walls of Jericho.

Edge tries to crawl to the ropes, but Jericho pulls him right back into the middle of the ring and turns it into a single leg crab, focusing on Edge’s injured leg. Edge is finally able to crawl to the ropes, and surprise Jericho with a roll up that’s good for a two count. Edge clotheslines Jericho over the top rope and both men go out to the floor. Jericho is back to his feet first and he grabs his title. Edge slams Jericho’s head into the ring apron, and Edge ends up accidentally elbowing the ref. Jericho hits Edge with the belt, and goes for the pin, but Edge kicks out!

Jericho measured Edge, then hit the Codebreaker for the pin at the sixteen minute mark.

Winner and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Chris Jericho

After the match, Jericho goes after Edge’s leg again, but Edge fights him off and sends him into the announce table. Edge takes apart the Spanish announce table, of course, and sets Jericho on it. Edge climbs on the other announce table, and waits for Jericho to get to his feet, running from one table, to the other, and spearing Jericho off the table and through the ringside barricade!

Edge climbs back into the ring, and poses for the fans, to a bit of a mixed reaction. Edge makes his way to the back, and Jericho looks really out of it. His head really snapped back against that barricade.

26-man Pre-Show Battle Royal:

You already know the results of this match if you checked WA.Com, but if you didn’t it was basically a 26 man battle royal which was won by Yoshi Tatsu. We get highlights, but nothing was especially notable.

10-Diva Tag Team Match
Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres, Gail Kim & Beth Phoenix vs. Michelle McCool, Layla, Maryse, Alicia Fox & Vickie Guerrero

Gail Kim and Vickie are going to be starting things out. Guerrero bumps Kim back, so Kim tags in Phoenix. Vickie finds herself in the corner, where she eats a couple of shoulders. Eve tags in and gives her a couple more shoulders. Kim tags in and James tags in, followed by Kelly, and they all pretty much do the same thing, beating on Vickie. Vickie is unfazed though, screaming at Kelly Kelly. A big slap and step up leg drop takes down Vickie, but McCool is in with a Styles Clash. Mickie comes in and hits her big DDT, layla comes in and hits a backbreaker, Kim comes in with a sole food. Everyone is coming in now. Phoenix hits a giant implant buster type move on Alicia, then turns her attention to Vickie.

Phoenix puts Guerrero in the tree of woe, but McCool comes in and clocks Phoenix out of nowhere. McCool sets it up, and talks Vickie into doing a frog splash on Kelly Kelly. Vickie does it, and connects, but has trouble pinning Kelly. She’s finally able to do it, and she gets a pin, scoring the win for her team.

Winners: Vickie Guerrero, Alicia Fox, Michelle McCool, Layla and Maryse

- The events leading to Batista vs. John Cena are shown.

WWE Championship Match
Batista (c) vs. John Cena

Batista is the first man out to the ring, and he gets what sounds to be a bit of a mixed reaction from the crowd. Batista’s entrance, of course, includes lots of pyro, and himself entering in a lone spotlight.

Cena continues his tradition of overly impressive WrestleMania entrances with another doozie, not quite as impressive as his bajillion look-a-likes entrance though. A group of soldiers, carrying rifles, go into a drill, spinning their rifles and doing all sorts of fancy stuff. The soldiers form themselves into an aisle, and spin their rifles as another walks through them. This happens a second, and third time. Cena’s music hits, and the crowd goes nuts. Cena walks down the aisle, with the air force honor guard air team spinning their rifles as he walks past. Cena charges down to the ring and the crowd is still going wild.

Someone made an awesome ‘South Park’ referencing ‘Batista likes fish sticks’ poster. Batista and Cena lock up, and Batista turns it into a headlock. Cena sends Batista into the ropes, and Batista responds with a big shoulderblock. Cena is back up, and he takes Batista off his feet with a headlock takeover. Batista fights back up to his feet and pushes Cena into the corner, forcing the break. Batista goes right for a punch, but Cena ducks it and goes to work with a couple of blows to the body. Batista responds with a big blow to the back of Cena’s head before picking him up and slamming him in the corner. Batista beats on Cena in the corner, slamming him with a big boot to the head.

Batista continues to work over Cena’s neck, clubbing away across Cena’s neck. Batista tries for a suplex, but Cena blocks it and comes back with a suplex of his own. Cena beats on Batista in the corner for a bit, and he hits a sort-of bull dog, but when he goes for the pin, he only gets two. Cena tries for the AA, but Batista fights it off, countering with a big DDT. Batista rolls right into the cover, but Cena kicks out at two.

Batista sits Cena up and hits a big kick to Cena’s face, but it’s only good for another near fall. Batista locks in a rear naked choke with a body scissors, trying to wear Cena down. Cena is able to fight up, with Batista on his back, and he forces Batista off his back, and tries to break Batista’s grip. Cena fights out of it, but gets a knee to the back. Cena and Batista exchange right hands, with Batista getting the upper hand with a neckbreaker. Batista gets a near fall. There’s a lot of boos for Cena surprisingly. Batista locks in a front chancery.

Cena is able to fight up to his feet, and suplexes Batista off of him to break the hold. Batista charges Cena in the corner, but gets a big boot instead. Cena hits a couple of big shoulder blocks, a side belly to back suplex, that gets a lot of heat, and he goes for the five knuckle shuffle, but he ends up eating a spinebuster from Batista instead.

Batista calls for the Batista bomb, but Cena surprises him with the STF. Batista is able to make it into the ropes to break the hold. Batista hits a big spear, and he goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two.

Batista puts Cena in the corner and buries his shoulder in Cena’s midsection before placing him on the top rope. Batista goes for a superplex, but Cena fights it off, turning it into a test of strength. Cena hits a couple of head butts, and punches Batista, sending him crashing to the mat. Cena gets to his feet and jumps off, connecting with a top rope five knuckle shuffle. Cena goes for the AA, but Batista grabs the top rope. Cena pulls him back, but Batista counters into the Batista bomb. Cover, but Cena kicks out at two and Batista is shocked.

Batista is up on his feet, and he picks Cena up, trying for another bomb, but Cena counters into an AA. Batista counters, and Cena counters into the AA again. Cena connects with a big AA, launching Batista, but when he goes for the cover, Batista kicks out at two!

Cena climbs up to the top turnbuckle, and he jumps off, right into a big spinebuster from Batista. Batista picks him up and tries for the Batista bomb, but Cena rolls through and goes straight into the STF. Batista tries for the ropes, but he’s eventually forced to tap. The crowd, who’s been pretty hostile up to this point, cheers pretty loudly.

Winner and NEW WWE Champion: John Cena

After the match, Cena poses with the belt, with a big smile on his face. They show big shots of the crowd, and I’m always just so amazed at how huge the whole event always looks.

- The events leading to Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels are shown.

- The events leading to Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels are shown.

Streak vs. Career
No Disqualification or Count Out
Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels is out to the ring first, and he looks pumped up, and extremely excited for someone who could be entering the ring for his last match… well, for the foreseeable future I guess.

The gong sounds, and the crowd goes wild. There’s fire for the entrance, but so far it’s away from the entranceway, thankfully. Taker is lifted up on a platform from the entrance ramp, with lighting from underneath. It’s especially demonic. Taker walks to the ring to a load of cheers, and the fire hits when he’s a good distance away.

Michaels does not look intimidated as Taker gets into the ring and disrobes. Taker and Micheals stare each other down.

Michaels drags his thumb across his throat and infuriates Taker. Taker charges Michaels, but Michaels dodges and catches Taker with a couple of chops. Taker comes right back, hanging Michaels up on the top turnbuckle, and splashing Micheals in the corner. Taker goes for old school, but Micheals fights it off. Taker goes up again and he’s able to walk to ropes and connect this time. Taker goes right for the chokeslam, but Micheals fights out of it and kicks at Taker’s knee. Taker fights back with a big right hand. Taker slams Michaels head into the turnbuckle, and he tries for a tombstone, but Michaels fights out and goes to work on Taker’s arm.

Taker tries for a short arm clothesline, but Michaels ducks it, and counters with a not quite solid SCM. Taker is a bit startled. Michaels goes right back to work on Taker’s knee, stomping away at it in the corner. Michaels hands Taker’s leg up on the ropes and just goes to work. Taker fights him off and gets back to his feet, pounding on him in the corner, but HBK kicks right back at Taker’s knee. Taker sends Michaels to the outside with a clothesline over the top ropes, and he teases a dive, but Michaels sees it coming and he comes back in with a shoulder to the knee.

Michaels tries for the figure four, but Taker fights it off and sends Michaels to the outside. Taker hits the crazy leg drop on the apron. Back in the ring, Michaels is right back up and he goes for the figure four, locking it in.

Michaels is wearing down the Undertaker, forcing him to put his shoulders to the mat every now and then. Taker reverses the pressure, rolling himself and HBK over and forcing Michaels to break the hold. Both men are back on their feet and they’re trading chops and punches. Michaels kicks at Taker’s knee, and goes to work with chops, but Taker responds with big right hands. Michaels ducks one and hits some more chops. Michaels hits a flying forearm to Taker, and he kips up, but he walks right into a chokeslam. Taker pins Michaels, but HBK kicks out at two.

Taker tries for a tombstone, but Michaels slithers out of it and locks in the ankle lock. Taker crawls toward the rope, but Michaels pulls him back into the ring and grapevines the leg to add more pressure. Taker again is worn down to where he’s forced to put his shoulders on the mat and force a pinning predicament. Taker is able to use his free foot to kick at Michaels and break the hold.

Michaels clotheslines Taker over the top rope, and he hangs on, on the apron. Michaels hits an asai moonsault, but Taker catches him, and reverses it into a tombstone piledriver on the outside. A medic is down to check on Michaels, but Taker throws him away and tosses Michaels back in the ring for the pin. Michaels kicks out at two!

Taker kicks at Michaels and he goes for the Last Ride, kind of connecting, but Michaels gets the pin. Taker kicks out at two. Michaels climbs to the top rope, and he goes for his signature elbow drop, but Taker gets his knees up to block it.

Taker locks in Hell’s gate out of nowhere, but Michaels counters into a pinning predicament, forcing Taker to break the hold. Taker hits Michaels with a big right, but Michaels responds with sweet chin music. Michaels goes for the pin, but Taker kicks out at two.

Michaels tunes up the band again in the corner, but another attempt is blocked by Taker, but buries his boot in Michaels stomach and connects with a proper Last Ride. Taker goes for the cover but Michaels kicks out!

Taker is back to his feet and he immediately tosses Michaels out to the floor. Taker begins taking apart the announce table, pulling out the monitors. Taker is pounding on his knee, trying to knock feeling back in. Taker sets Michaels up for the Last Ride, but Michaels gets out of it and hits SCM, sending Taker on top of the announce table. Michaels goes up to the top turnbuckle, and he launches himself off, with a big moonsault, crashing through Undertaker and the table!

Michaels crawls over toward Taker, and he rolls him back toward and into the ring. Both men get back up to their feet, and Michaels connects with sweet chin music. Michaels goes for the pin, but Taker kicks out at two!

Michaels goes for SCM again, but it’s blocked and Taker hits a chokeslam instead. Taker picks Michaels up, and connects with a big tombstone. Taker pins Michaels, but Michaels kicks out at two!

Taker pulls down the straps, and he almost jerks his thumbs across his throat, but he decides against it. Michaels climbs up, and Taker tells him to stay down. Michaels crawl up, using Taker to support himself. Michaels drags his thumb across his own throat, and slaps Taker across the face. Taker gets angry, and immediately connects with a tombstone. Taker pins Michaels, and that’s all she wrote.

Winner and 18-0, streak intact: The Undertaker

They air highlights of the match and pyro explodes with 18-0 on the TitanTron. ‘Taker and Shawn hug after the match. ‘Taker leaves and HBK celebrates to end the show. The fans give him a standing O. He soaks it w/ THANK YOU SHAWN chants after the match. He gets on his knees and bows to the crowd. Shawn holds back tears as he walks up the ramp. One last bow

Patrick Smith

Visiting San Francisco, California is great to do with a family; it is even better to do as an adult without children along. Frisco has a thriving nightlife and plenty of entertainment that simply isn’t meant for children. From the slightly off color to the seriously bawdy, San Francisco nightlife has entertainment of almost every flavor. Of course there is still plenty to do during the daylight hours too.

If you’re looking for a taste of nightlife that is ‘belly busting’ funny, there’s Comedy on the Square that offers comedic variety shows. You can also check out Lila Theatre for some of the best long-form improvisation. If you need a good laugh these are great places to start. 50 Mason Lounge is also a great place to go to get in on the laughs. The problem with San Francisco is that there are so many great comedy clubs they can’t all be listed in one place. My suggestion is that you ask around for suggestions and find out who’s playing. You never know when someone you recognize might be popping in for the evening.

In addition to the great comedy clubs there is the general ‘gentleman’s’ nightlife alive and well in this fair city. I would be remiss if I failed to mention some of the more unique adult entertainment that San Francisco has to offer. In addition to the typical gentlemen’s clubs such as Broadway Showgirls Cabaret, which boasts more luxurious surroundings than other clubs, there is Crazy Horse, Inc., which has totally nude live shows, The Gold Club, and Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club. There is one club that goes above and beyond what any of these clubs offer though and is worth checking out with a date if you and your partner are so inclined. This club is called Power Exchange and while there are a few places like this around the country, they are extremely rare. If you aren’t easily offended and are the least bit curious, I would recommend checking it out.

San Francisco is swimming with active and awesome nightclubs and as such it is quite difficult to single one out as superior to any other. I recommend finding a nightclub that is within walking distance of your hotel. This diminishes the odds of your driving while intoxicated. As always it is important to enjoy responsibly.

If you want to make the most out of your trip to San Francisco, be sure to remember that while there is plenty to do at night, you want to be awake and aware for at least part of the day so don’t have too much fun at night. If you are very brave and adventurous and looking for more adult only entertainment you can try one of the nude beaches in the area. While these beaches are not for everyone and they aren’t exactly nighttime activities, they do offer some adult only entertainment that is worth considering if it floats your boat.

You can also rent sailboat and powerboat cruises in the bay, if you are with a loved one, try one of the sunset cruises. These cruises are romantic time away from the crowds of the city. Even if these times aren’t exclusively for adults, if you close your eyes and imagine, you can whittle the world down to just the two of you.

Whatever your pleasure in this great city, I hope you have found some ideas for great fun and entertainment that will get your trip off to a great start. Remember to have fun and enjoy the time you spend visiting San Francisco, California whether that time be day or night. If none of the things I’ve mentioned above have struck your fancy there are always more cultural undertakings such as museums, guided tours, or trips to Alcatraz. Just remember the purpose of a vacation is fun, if you aren’t having fun where you are, go somewhere else!

I want to take this moment to say that this column does not reflect my personal feelings or those of the FiX Magazine. This is simply a response to an earlier posted column allowing the other side of the debate to have a voice.

I have to admit that when I gave Sarah the assignment on circumcision that she tackled the other day, that I did not see coming the two results of her column. The first result is that there was an overwhelming response to the column. The second is that so many people are passionate in their beliefs about the subject. I have to compliment Sarah on her piece, (that is why she is so good at what she does.)

So here we are today with me having two days to come up with my response on the other side of the coin, the advantages to why circumcision needs to be done at an early age. I have to admit that her piece will be a tough act to follow, but I will try my best. We first need to look at the question as to the advantages to having a male circumcised at birth? There are some health benefits to having this done Now Sarah did a good job of pointing out the reasons as to why it does not need to be done, also many of you have stated that you are against this as it does not allow a person to have a say so, (I will have another writer tackle that issue.)

The first reason why a male being circumcised early in their life is this, it is a lot more hygienic to have a circumcised penis. Studies show that 10-14% of males that have their foreskin removed as an infant suffer from infection, this is compared to a male that is not circumcised, in those males the percentage is nearly double that of their circumcised counterparts. So as you can see this is the most obvious reason for an infant to be circumcised.

Another reason why many people are in favor of circumcision, is the reduction in UTI’s in circumcised male’s it is a fact that 1 out of 100 makes will suffer from a UTI in the first year of their life. In comparison the rate drops to 1 out of 1000 males, this is a drastic reduction in the occurrence of UTI’s

There is the issue that some women may enjoy a circumcised penis during sex as opposed to one that is uncircumcised. While I am not a man I will not toch this aspect, I am simply letting you the reader know what the facts are and letting you decide for yourself. While Sarah made several points in her column that were valid, I will say that those that are pro circumcision now can relax as there is a voice for you in this debate. I would love to hear your thoughts on the subject, so keep the comments coming and we will keep posting them.
